"My son transferred from out of state to EHS. He has found nothing but kids who treated him kindly and with respect unlike his former high school. I firsthand witnessed his bullying and disrespect at the former school (sad because I graduated from there too) but here there are A LOT of kids and lots of different groups to make anyone feel welcome. I have dealt with the teachers (all helpful and energetic) and administrators (all were nice- my son is not a trouble maker though) and support staff. ALL of them treated me as a parent with respect and my son is held to be responsible which is how high school should be! He is happy there from day one and I have promised to not move him--he wants to graduate a WildCat! If you are moving I HIGHLY recommend the Rockwood School district and EHS is a great school!"

"This high school has excellent curriculum and great teachers; but a large percentage of the student body walks around with their nose in the air and hate in their heart, thinking their better than everyone else. The students here are truly brutal, and I describe my experience to high schoolers from other schools and they exclaim they haven't heard anything like it since middle school. Another thing, the administrative body is absolutely terrible. The head principal wouldn't second guess punishing you based on her mood. The administrators will select targets early in their high school career and ensure they do everything they can do ruin their lives, i've witnessed happen to one too many friends. One administrator in particular, will grimace in pleasure while punishing you; they all enjoy bringing inconvenience to students life. I would not recommend this backward prioritized school to my worst enemy."
