"Spent a week at this property, it is in a beautiful but somewhat remote location. Important things to know about this property…you have two flights of stairs just to enter the unit along with a flight up to the bedrooms, and the internet (WiFi) connectivity is very poor but I was able to maintain 5G connectivity with my cell phone. The 2-bedroom unit was clean and has pretty much everything you need for an extended stay. The bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water, and you can walk to the beach. I enjoyed the balconies where you could enjoy the view of the ocean, and the seclusion allows you to walk for miles or drive on the beach. The living room furniture is a bit dated and could use updating. Communication with the resort and Melissa was excellent answering questions and providing information and assistance when needed."

"We have been coming for 15+ years and love “our” beach as we call it. Peregrine is amazing - from the staff, to the townhomes right on the beach. Super family friendly. Very secluded. Beach is more populated on the weekends, grab your spot early. But beach is open during the week. Very basic kitchen supplies. Great for a quiet vacation. Bring lots of refillable water gallons. We typically refill 6 gallon bottles for 9 people about every other day. Melissa, Sam & Paige & Ms. Pat are fantastic!"
"The townhomes are jyst a few steps from the beach. It was clean and staff were friendly and responsive. I suggest bringing all of your meals, because there is only one restaurant within a mile. The rest are 10 miles away or more. There is a coffee pot with filters. This is a beautiful area. We loved our stay"
"Best kept secret on surfside beach. Been coming every year for years. Each unit has a beautiful view of the water/beach. It’s secluded away from a lot of people. Only steps away from the beach. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Management is first class! If you want peace and quiet this is the place. Shopping/dinning 30 minutes away in Lake Jackson or Galveston. There are some local restaurants and convenient stores. We love the restaurant Red Snapper about 10 minutes away. I have no complaints about this resort. We love it. A big plus is it’s pet friendly! Not handicapped, you do have stairs."
