We had to go out of town for a week shortly after her diagnosis and we felt 100% confident trusting Buffalo Grove Animal Hospital with boarding and administering her meds. Dr. Schaele and team explained things in detail and answered any questions we had. I couldn't imagine going through what we did with any other care team. They're the best! "I can honestly say that taking my baby princess cat here was a mistake that I regret every day. I took my 2 year old baby here for a tooth extraction and when I picked her up they told me she had feline leukemia virus which it was shocking to me but I understood and they also told me to comeback in about two weeks for a follow up, by the following week my baby was not getting any better and began to decline in other ways that I wasn't expecting, she was not eating or drinking at all and she wasn't able to walk. I went back for the follow up and talked to Michelle Kovacs which seemed like she didn't care or had no experience at all because all she gave me was some papers and didn't explain to me why was my sweet baby was getting worse by not eating drinking and not walking. My sweet cat had lost all control of her lower back and legs. I do want to mention that before taking my baby to this place, my baby was running jumping doing everything cats do. All she had was a broken infected tooth that needed to be pull out. I really don't know and will never know why and how a simple tooth extraction cause my sweet baby princess cat to pass away two months after her visit to this place. She was never able to bounce back to normal. She wasn't able to eat normal anymore, she wasn't able to use the litter box anymore and she never wanted to drink water anymore. She was only 2 years old. I miss her every single day. No I do not recommend this place. They really don't care all they care about is money, they even charge you a deposit for an appointment when other places much better, cleaner and more professional in the same area don't do."

"From any animal hospital I have ever been to, this place is by far the best. The receptionists are always so nice and helpful, even over the phone. They are also very good about scheduling, I have never had an issue getting in, even under a time crunch. I feel so welcomed here and they truly deliver the best care. I would not take my pet anywhere else and I recommend taking your pet here."

"We have used this animal hospital for years, and have always had a great experience, even with our sometimes less-than-actively-participating large dogs! They are always very gentle with our anxious dog, which helps him feel better about the entire process. Prices are good and the doctors and staff are great."
