"Pretty darn frustrated with this place. First, they messed up a ring solder job for my wife and never once informed her that the ring would need to be resized typically after the work. She only was informed this information AFTER she picked it up and the ring was too small. I also dropped off a VERY special Citizen watch that my father gave me for over 8 weeks now!! Just after New Years week and it is now March!! When I dropped it off, I was told that I would receive a call about an estimate within a week from their Fredericksburg store. No call was ever received. We then had to call them and were told their watch guy was retiring and extremely overbooked. Don't you think that is important to tell your customers before you take an item for repair? Now several weeks later, still no proactive communication from them. Nothing. My wife did stop by to pick-up her ring (another disappointing service that she can write a review about) at Bee Caves location several weeks later. She inquired about my watchb and was informed that parts were being ordered. Of course, she had to inquire and request the info which is poor customer service in our opinion. At this point, I simply want my watch back so I can take it to a jewelry that can support their customers properly. And a jeweler that actually communicates upfront and educates their customers properly with realistic estimates (upon pickup, after the fact, we find out that we owe $200+ for resizing). Ignoring the ring work & extra fees, is 2 months for a watch repair with no immediate or even periodic updates from the jewerer acceptable? Not for my family, especially when we in-trust a very important item gifted from my father."

"The folks at both jewelry stores (Fredericksburg and Bee Cave, TX) are simply the nicest, most helpful and knowledgeable people! I have recently been dropping by the store in Bee Cave about once a month as my travels take me over there. Susan, Gloria, and Olivia will assist you. They impart interesting ideas if you express a desire to have an item repaired, cleaned or want to purchase something special. Bruce, the jeweler is as nice a guy as could be, easy to converse with. Sure, you could go to chain jewelry stores, I used to until I went to Fredericksburg and discovered their shop on Main St., they've been in business there since 1937, that speaks volumes in today's world. So the next time you need a jewelry store, I highly recommend Segners. Why just settle when you can go to the best?!!"
