"We had a wonderful and peaceful stay in the Valley View Cabin at Brazos House Retreat. The cabin was clean and comfy, with all the fixings for coffee. Our host even brought us some fresh eggs from their hens. We enjoyed petting the donkeys and a nice visit from their sweet dog. Time spent on the front porch in the morning gave us the perfect sunrise. The road to the cabin that we stayed in is gravel and a little steep reaching the top of the hill, so it would not be the best cabin choice for a low clearance vehicle. Thank you to the Myers for their hospitality."
"Was able to visit and enjoy the Hillside cabin for just the wife and I. Perfect getaway and this cabin is relatively close to the river. We took our chairs and placed in the river which was maybe 6-8 inches at the time we went. The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing 2 nights. Just bring your food. Thanks to Kay and Stan Myers. Gracious hosts"
"Had the most amazing vacation at BHR. The rustic cabin was perfect for our family. The hospitality was greatly appreciated and we loved every moment of our stay. Everything we needed or could think of was provided. My son had a couple of protectors when we would walk the property.lol...I highly recommend staying at BHR if you need a getaway from the city especially if you have kiddos. Thank you Stan and Kay for making our time memorable. We can't wait to go back!"
"The property is beautiful, and there is a creek/river that cuts through the back. Ample room for a large group, and plenty of space to gather/eat/play/etc. The place is fully furnished, has a pool table, and there is a bathroom in just about every room. We (The Hill Church Cleburne) had our most recent men's retreat out there, were all very comfortable the whole timber, and we all had a blast! Highly recommend"
