"Beautiful! Lots of trials. No swimming at this time of year and I’m not sure why. Could be water is low."

"The amount of enjoyable water spots in the Austin area is overwhelming. This was in my top 5. Locals really seem to know how to enjoy it all day by bringing tubes to relax on as well. As for me- I enjoyed the cool swim on a less busy day. There are good spots to soak up in the sun or relax in the shade on the grass as well. They even rent umbrella areas and eating areas for the perfect no-hassle picnic. The fact that you can bring in food here unlike some of the other spots is a nice luxury. The ropes make it fun for kids and adults alike as well."

"Very beautiful!! Refreshing cold water that originates from Jacob's Well and a nearby creek. You need reservations to swim. There is limited parking close to the swimming hole entrance so I had to hike a bit to reach the entrance. But it wasn't too bad. Staff is very friendly and helpful."
