"I went here for the opening weekend this summer, it was apparently free to get in that day bc of it so that was nice we walked right in. It still was not super crowded. It's a decent size pool, very clean with a shallow area for kids. Plenty of lifeguards. There were showers, bathrooms, picnic tables under shade and other sitting areas around the pool. Theres also like low key style snacks and drinks; concessions. Outside of the pools fence in the back is a little splash pad for the kids that is super cute but you have to walk out & around as its technically part of Stevenson Park. There are like swimming lanes I believe you would call it in the pool, it does have a deeper area of 5 feet max. There are swim lessons you can register for on the website & nonresidents of Friendswood can use the pool also its $2 person per day for residents & $4 person per day for nonresidents. They also have like summer passes you can get. Everyone who worked there was nice & all of the facilities & like vending machines they had worked properly. It's basically right on the park too so you can do both with one parking spot & the parking is free & convenient from what I saw! We are totally going back."
