"They are increasing their prices AGAIN! I signed up to this location while they were building it. Obviously they are trying to make me drop out so they can get new members at their I’m sure unjustifiable fees. This is a warming for those thinking of joining. Their current fee doesn’t justify anything. Also, you have to pay extra for classes on top of the membership fee. This is outrageous and another example of pricing gouging."

"Disappointing Experience at Lifetime Fitness Aquatics Program After more than two years at Lifetime Fitness, particularly within their aquatics program, I feel compelled to share the disappointing experience my family and I endured, hoping it might serve as a cautionary tale for others. Initially, we were drawn to the program with high hopes for my daughter’s swimming progress. Despite regular sessions and consistent attendance, we noticed a lack of improvement in her skills. Whenever I approached her coach for feedback, I was met with generic praise, being told she was doing “great.” However, this did not align with the lack of observable progress. The situation escalated when I pressed for a more detailed explanation regarding her stagnation. The coach suggested that my daughter would not improve unless we shifted to private lessons, a recommendation that came as both a surprise and a disappointment, considering the time and financial investment we had already committed. Seeking resolution, I turned to the aquatics manager, only to be met with a lack of support. His indifference culminated in suggesting that if I was dissatisfied, terminating our membership was the best course of action. This response was both shocking and unacceptable, showcasing a profound lack of customer service and care. Moreover, administrative issues compounded our frustration. On three separate occasions during the summer months, I discovered that we were being double charged. Despite raising this issue and expecting a refund or at least an acknowledgment of the error, the response was underwhelming. My complaints were seemingly ignored, and no refund was issued. Attempts to escalate the matter to the branch manager, Kendall, were futile; despite leaving multiple voice messages, I never received a call back. In summary, our experience with Lifetime Fitness and its aquatics program was marked by poor communication, lackluster customer service, and administrative negligence. It’s disheartening to realize that an institution we trusted not only failed to support our daughter’s development but also showed a blatant disregard for fair and transparent billing practices. I hope this review serves as a warning to others to carefully consider their options before committing to a program that may not live up to its promises."

"Weird, all their old fossil locations that need to be brought into the modern age are cheaper than this location and have availability. But not worth the price. This location is a mile away from me but triple the price of other locations. Meaning all charges considered it’s a wash. You don’t save any money regardless of location. The older locations have lower ratings on Google this location with a few other newer location have higher ratings but much higher prices and a waitlist. I have to drive out 30 miles round trip daily just to go to different locations when this one is just a mile away. Common trend I see for life time reviews is this. Rocketing prices and decline in quality and experience. Back in 2008 they where the example gym for all other gyms. But over time they became just as horrible as the other gyms. Corporate really needs to dig back to their roots of 2008 and go back to being the gym they used to be. At one point they were 24 hours. And this was the highest quality of the gym in my view. They consistently maintained quality and experience. And today all this is gone. They reply to reviews saying they have opportunities to improve and say they will look to fix the problem but they don’t. Simple ban phone cameras from common workout areas. Others shouldn’t be forcibly filmed against their will it’s not a recording studio it’s a gym. Maintain a consistent cleaning schedule where routinely throughout the day we can see you all cleaning the place up. Stop increasing the darn price if your quality keeps tanking Take care of your buildings. Burnt lights, rust, mold, and broken handles don’t look good for a gym that charges so much money. And if you brought back 24 hours this would be gold. But I know you won’t. If you made this far, don’t consider this specific gym unless you’re rich. And have money to set fire to and burn away. Chose one or the other locations that has everything thing gym does at a lesser price. Life time need to come back to reality."

"My husband and I came in on the afternoon of 12/8 (around 2pm). We asked to do a tour of the facility with hopes of signing a membership. There were two employees working the front desk and we were told that tours must be scheduled in advance. We asked when the next availability was, which they told us would be the next day. This seemed odd with two employees present, but we agreed to the appointment for a tour. The employee then told us that even if we toured we’d be on a 4 - 6 week wait list to start a membership. What kind of gym has a waitlist??? Isn’t the business goal of gyms to sign as many people as possible with only about 20 - 30% actually coming in regularly? And wouldn’t you just follow fire Marshall guidelines if at some point the gym was full…I’m curious whether the owner is aware that the employees are actively advertising against new memberships. After all that he asked if we wanted to talk pricing. Isn’t it a basic sales concept that you at least show the customer your product/service prior to talking price? I haven’t even had a chance to see what you have to offer."
