We got several estimates before committing, and despite all of the costs being about the same from company to company, JR made us feel truly valued as people. He walked us through every step of the process. His communication is unparalleled. I think Tidal Wave does it right -- they show you what you get for the quote. They have several stones and tiles for the base cost. Everything isn't an "upgrade" like the other companies neglect to tell you until you get to that step. The crew showed up when they said they would and finished our pool and spa early. We initially had difficulty finding a fence company who would even call us back. JR handled that too--even got us estimates from different companies! We wanted to price out a few different additions along the build, and he got us renderings and estimates FAST. The dig was started 8/1/23 and we were swimming before the summer was over. We were not expecting to be ahead of schedule. If you are on the fence about pool companies, call JR. "Once we did our due diligence with about 6 different pool companies we chose Tidal Wave Custom Pool company. JR was very down to earth as you would want with a small company and he had a no pressure presents about the entire process. We met at our home for the first meeting to get all the measurements and start the design plan that we wanted. Then we received a graphic design of our wants with finishes a couple of days after the first meeting. This brought our ideas to life in a 3D digital picture. Made us want the pool even more!! Once you decide to move forward and get the money to do the job, I say jump on it fast! We were fast to move on ours and JR was fast to get started after permits were approved. We went from dig day to swim day in 52 days which is not normal but worked well for our family! The final finished product was about 60ish days but we were happy with the finished product. Anything with construction is going to have set backs and some things will need redone but just know that Tidal Wave Custom Pools will be right there to make everything right and ensure you are happy with what you wanted!!"
