Southern Leisure Spas & Patio - Arlington

"We visited Southern Leisure and Spas several times and compared the Spas with other manufacturers. We visited the State Fair and also got some ideas about HotTubs from our friends. All the time we went to Southern Leisure and Spas we were received with a welcoming attitude and they answered all our questions. We did not feel forced to make a purchase or a rushed decision. We were offered great financing options and alternatives, including recommendations on when was a great time to buy due to sales and promotions. Jacob Allen was amazing from the first time. He provided us great advice and continues to provide great Customer Service. He recommended us two electricians and provided us with product advise and rebate/discount options. Being able to test the JetPacks before purchase was excellent. Jacob’s recommendations were great and it showed he has great experience. Jacob even stayed after hours and adjusted to our work schedule so that we could try the HotTub. Jacob has been in constant communication with us since before the purchase and when the HotTub was ready to be delivered he reached to us for schedule of delivery. The installation Team was very friendly and understanding of our concerns and they were also careful with our and our Neighbor’s property. It was unfortunate it was raining on the day of the delivery, so the delivery Team had to struggle with mud and wet environment. The electrician recommended by Jacob was great and at a good price. The other electrician was more expensive. After delivery Jacob checked with us and he continues to answer our questions. One of the JetPacks had a small issue with a disconnected Jet. Jacob helped us contact the service Department and the new JetPack was delivered and installed promptly. Sadly, one of our Pumps failed during the Winter Weather on a Holiday weekend. Jacob promptly answered our message and helped us reach out to their Service Department who scheduled the visit to check the pump. It was a huge AirLock, which we could not unlock with the methods from the Videos and Articles we read. We did not want to mess with the Pump directly or reach inside the Cabinet since it was below freezing and we didn’t want to have to cut the power and disable the “Winter Mode”. The only minor complaint (or perhaps a suggestion) I have is that Southern Leisure and Spas removed the “Spa class” for customers and they refer you to their Website and Training Videos. Some of the videos are of older models or they do not cover the Spa we purchased and they do not cover the water chemistry methods using the products we purchased from Southern Leisure. The videos are informative and a good resource if they apply to you or you the model of Spa you have, otherwise they are mostly general guidance, similar to what you can find in YouTube. The information included with the FROG @ease system listed chemicals which we did not purchase because Southern Leisure does not carry them, so we keep wondering how to adjust the water chemistry or if what we are doing is wrong. Despite our difficulties with the Water Chemistry and adjustments, Jacob has been great helping us review pictures of the water testing strips and reviewing pictures of the water; however, no matter how wonderful Jacob is, there is no substitute for a recent video or an in-person training, especially for new spa owners. We feel bad about bothering the Team at Southern Leisure all the time with questions that could be addressed by a training class or at least a larger collection of videos from Southern Leisure. We are very happy with Southern Leisure and Spas, mainly because of their Team. Jacob’s team is great and very professional. Attentive to Detail and Customer Service Centered. We are also very happy with the Bullfrog Spa A7D. The dual lounger is excellent and strongly recommended. Even if you are single. For a Couple is a must! and we discovered that each lounger has a slightly different height, so for couples with different heights/sizes they are great. Definitely recommend..."

"Walked in looking for a new hot tub as our old one went out over a year ago. One winter without one was enough! We kinda knew what size we wanted and our budget. We were kindly greeted in store and were helped out by Jacob. We checked out a few and noted a couple we really liked. Went to a couple other places, returned the next day and purchased the one we really liked! The whole process was smooth from purchasing, getting everything set up for hauling off our old and installing the new one. Even checked up after on christmas! Thanks for everything Jacob and team."

I was very happy with the whole experience from purchase procedure to the guys who set the spa up for me. He also kept me up to date as to the status of my spa and when I could expect it.
