"Terrible property management group. Stayed at 1020 E Hyde Park Blvd for two years. Started out fine, then the washers in the laundry room broke down & were never fixed. I had a pipe burst during the holidays and even with renter’s insurance, they didn’t fix. Emailed & called Robert White, no response even though he assured me things would get fixed. Just terrible all around. My ex father in law ended up patching up the wall for me, but it's just crazy that they were refusing to fix things while raising the rent."

"I'm genuinely surprised by the all the good reviews. I was at the 5240-5250 S Drexel Ave apartment complex and had the most awful time. Particularly, the property manager Robert White was so unhelpful. He NEVER replied to emails, he never answered the phone, I swear this guy was actively avoiding doing his job at this property. It wasn't just me who felt like this. Many residents at the complex had the same issues. The maintenance guy was always unkept and acted like he was giving you his precious time to fix your maintenance issues. The bathroom in the 1 bedroom apartments were so small that 2 people could not stand there at the time. The rent was cheap and there was a reason why. Horrible cockroach and millipede problem at the apartment. Mice were in the walls. Place was renovated but with the most cheap materials. My kitchen ceiling FELL leaving a sinking hole in the part of the kitchen! For Christ's sakes. I understand it's an older building, but SERIOUSLY? That was the one time that Robert White was very responsive so at least there's that. Wouldn't reimburse me for damages caused by the falling ceiling though. I had the absolute worst year living here and I couldn't recommend it to anyone in good conscience. On top of everything else, packages were always stolen. I'd say I had a 20% success rate with getting a package aka I'd get 2 packages for every 10 that I ordered. Yes, this is a resident problem as residents there were clearly stealing - but management didn't care. Seriously, don't live here. I'm posting 2 years later after living there because I've tried to block this memory out of my mind. I highly recommend checking out some of the other management companies. I'm currently with Ivy Residences and have had the BEST time here."

"I stayed here at this apartment for about 3years until I moved this year the apartment was ok in the beginning until everything start going bad a leaking roof, mice, water bugs they never came to fix my ceiling I complained about the ceiling I email Robert White he never responds to email or phone calls very unprofessional but want to get paid the rent no matter what health hazards involved the residents I told him the ceiling has mold and I have children in home he promised said the they will have someone fixed the roof never did that apartment has mold in the ceiling do not rent from this Property Management Horrible no one never returns your calls when you have issues with your apartment And I had agreement with Robert White that since my apartment had the mold issues that I will pay a certain amount and that I would moved out and he wouldn’t send my account to collection and he did he renege on his word he can’t be trusted so I will be calling the better business bureaus and my lawyer"
