Kasa Magnificent Mile Chicago

"We were given the wrong room on the first night. Kasa was not aware what kind of room they had provided - they insisted it was a King room when clearly the bed was Queen sized. I had to provide proof of their error because no one from Kasa was there in person during regular business hrs to confirm and amend the error. The text messaging system we used to communicate with then was incredibly slow, and they did not answer any phone calls. The next afternoon we received a complimentary room upgrade but not after many confusing back and forth messages alternating between automated responses and real people, because again, there was no one from Kasa present to help us. They refunded part of the first night. Nevertheless, our itinerary for the first and second day in Chicago had to be entirely altered (some tickets wasted) to figure out the room error and to move rooms. The new room smelled heavily of cleaning products and bleach. The electric kettle had some weird discoloration inside and the anti-slip stickers in the shower were slightly moldy. All in all, I am underwhelmed with Kasa. Not a good first impression. I’d much rather just stay at a hotel next time."

"The advertising really corresponded to the room, services and amenities. The location was really convenient, close to main restaurants, market, subway and good places to go in Chicago. The neighborhood was secure. The room was clean, wide, many windows and space. All appliances worked very well. I liked the courtesy coffee available. Especial mention to the clerk who helped us for an early check in."

"We stayed at a beautiful apartment in downtown Chicago for a girls weekend. It was a corner unit with gorgeous views of the city and close to lots of fun places. The place was well furnished and very clean. Highly recommend!"

"LOVELY! The location was perfect, I was very unsure, i wanted something closer to Millennium Park, but magnificent mile was just perfect. Way more quiet, cleaner and everything was still very close, the train station, lots of stores and restaurants. We actually only used the train a couple times, we walked EVERYWHERE. A lot of things to do around there. Kasa was beautiful, the apartment was very clean, exactly what they described. Instructions were super clear. We would definitely stay there again. "I visited the Kasa Magnificent Mile Chicago in early October 2023 for the purpose of spending some time in Chicago and running the Chicago Marathon. I booked the 1 King Bedroom High Floor flat (14th Floor) and for anyone where the price range is within budget look no further. For the price of a hotel you get a real apartment to live in that feels like a proper home. The kitchen was fully equipped and had all the consumables that you require without a need to buy any extras. The kitchen/ living room area is spacious (even for US standards; for European standards it is very spacious; and for Far East standards the flat is huge). The bathroom is also very spacious and there were no issue with hot/ cold water/ lights/ cleanness of surfaces and consumables (towels/ toilet paper). The bedroom was also very spacious and had the usual walk in wardrobe found in the US (which is not common in Europe and Asia). The curtains were thick an enabled a good sleep irrespective of light pollution that you expect in a downtown area full of skyscrapers. The double glazed windows also helped dampen the sound of noise from outside and most importantly ambulances and police cars at night which can be a regular occurrence in downtown Chicago. The safety of the apartment itself is really good (particularly given that Chicago has attracted bad publicity recently) and the establishment is in a very safe neighbourhood that feels safe even late at night. The establishment is accessible 24 hours per day and there is a reception for most hours of the day. Last but not least I want to highlight the trouble free check in and check out process which makes it very easy if you have an early morning flight and want a hassle free check out."
