Sun-Ray Pools of Burleson

"Sunray built our pool this past winter. Everything went well through the entire build process. Once completed, EVERYTHING went to hell! Travis, our pool tech, has no concept of customer service, and gave us a "you'll have to wait your turn" response on multiple occasions! Greg, the actual superintendent of the pool build, tried to make things right. But there was (AND IS) a significant problem with the skimmer (weir) door. They have replaced it three times and plan to replace it again with another door. The problem IS NOT WITH THE DOOR! As I have told him several times. The holes that the door sets in are nonexistent. The pool has two skimmers and I can feel the holes that the other one is inserted into. The door in question has literally NO HOLES. No matter how many times they replace the door, it will continue to fail, like it has four times in the last five months! I have hesitated to post ANY reviews since the trouble started, because I feel like they deserve a chance to make this right. Not sure how many more chances they deserve. They got my 55 thousand dollars and now I'm stuck with a problem that I'm gonna have to pay somebody to fix. Unacceptable!"

"If Tony was the only person we dealt with, we would give them 5 stars. His project manager was hard to get ahold of and had some ridiculous excuses about missing appts with my wife. I will say every time I had to contact Tony he corrected the issues immediately. The project took 4 months and pool and patio are everything we wanted. One piece of advice that we can give is at the end MAKE SURE the new dirt they lay down after the project is packed down! All they did was spray it with water and once it dried the red dirt blew into the pool. 3 months in we had to replace the 4 pool filters and they are not cheap."

We reached out and got quotes from about 20 different pool companies, and Sun-Ray had one of the best prices for a company with such high reviews. They are amazing builders, and you’d be a fool not to go with them. The actual construction of the pool was only 3 months which is extremely fast given the fact that we’re in the middle of a pandemic, and we also got a month of rain in that time frame.
