"Beautiful, clean, COLD cottages with a wonderful view of the lake. Waterfront access for a convenient fun day with family and friends. Well maintained property with excellent attention to detail… (we did not have to bring a whole lot of essentials). This is a great spot to have your family or friends rent out the cabins for a fun retreat at an adorable price. You are greeted by a cute cabin with ice cold Real Ale stocked and ready for you!"

"I already left a review as to our experience but I will leave an update. The management company finally called us back on Monday and said they would be refunding our first night. April Anderson was very rude and not apologetic at all. She then said "Okay, now I need you to go remove your review." The only reason we even got a call back was the review!!! But we agreed. As we go to do so we see she has left a review for us on AirBNB basically calling us liars for what we said in our review. Mind you, we have 4 grown adults, plus phone and text message records to prove we were telling the truth. She blamed the mix up on the rooms on the other guest, which was NOT their fault. They got the code to the room from the cleaning ladies. SO, she was rude when returning our call and has now called us liars on a public forum. We are disputing the review with AirBNB now and will be speaking to our attorney for the slander."

"The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken was delicious. The chicken fried steak was tender and seasoned perfectly. They mash potatoes had kind of a sweet flavor that wasn't really for me but the grilled asparagus was delicious. The atmosphere is casual and very friendly. They even have free roaming chickens on the outside patio. When it gets a little bit cooler I will definitely dine out side with the chickens."

"Fantastic cottages along an outcropping on Canyon Lake. Comfortable size for 2-4 person's though there is sleeping room for up to 6-7. Cabins are completely modernized and decorated. Lake is accessible via a marked walking trail where you can swim, float or fish freely directly from the banks. Wear your water shoes or sandals as bottom is rocky. A number of good dining choices in the close vicinity including Goofy's Bar and Grill, Granny D's, and My Little Oven Pizza. Nicely appointed kitchen also allows you to prep your own meals right there. Marina close by for boat, jet ski, and other rentals and specific swimming beaches are easily driven too as well."

"This place was definitely amazing. Cute clean cottage maybe 100 yards from the lake at most. Scenery is beautiful and there are plenty of deer that roam. The cottage has everything you can want from BBQ pit, coffee cups, a blender, etc. Will definitely be back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the beds are horrible. So much that I couldn't even fall asleep after a good night of boozing. Don't see why they didnt spare any expense on everything else and then come up way short on bed."
