"Awesome place to get away without having to drive too far out of the city. Only complaints are that the outside of the cabin needed a power wash and you can hear some road noise. Otherwise, the cabins and surrounding foliage and pond were idyllic! Shawn and Kathleen were excellent hosts. Give this place a try!"

"What a blessed experience. This place gave me, my daughter and grand babies a chance to reconnect after a very long difficult 17 months of life’s challenges. I made my one year anniversary of breast cancer recovery this year. Staying at a cabin with family was on my bucket list of things to do. Thank you Kathleen and Shawn for providing such a beautiful place to relax and have fun. We stopped by the hardware store near the cabin to get firewood. Lois helped us and was extremely kind. How many people walk out to the car from the store to see you off, chat and wish you well. To anyone considering this location, don’t hesitate. We did not want to leave after two nights. Best Christmas ever!"

"Excellent experience! 7 of us stayed in the Heth house for one night and it was more than enough space to relax and catch up with friends from across the country. We ordered Sweetwater grill for dinner and brought it back and ate around the table. The fire pit outside at night combined with the lawn for corn hole was perfect. The next morning we just hung out on the front porch listening to the breeze. Great friendly service, we will be coming back again!"

"This was a very pleasant experience. The owners and staff make you feel at home. Very very clean cabins, all different and unique. Beautiful area outside to cook, sit or walk around. We were the only cabin rented during my stay, so I'm not sure how secluded you feel when the other cabins are rented. I imagine they are spread out enough you glimpse your neighbor and may have a pleasant hello if out walking."

"I LOVE this place! I stayed there the weekend of my wedding when they first opened in the Heth House. First off the owners were super sweet. From booking to arriving all the way until after we left they were so sweet and made sure we had everything we wanted to be comfortable. The fridge was stocked and everything was very clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed time at night outside by the fire and even roasted marshmallows. My husband and I plan on making a stay there every year on our wedding anniversary as a tradition."
