Dragon Martial Arts of Round Lake, located at 655 Railroad Avenue in Round Lake, Illinois, is a Kukkiwon affiliated school offering a range of classes for all ages and skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced martial artist, there is something for everyone at Dragon Martial Arts. Our curriculum includes speed and agility training, cardiovascular workouts, self-defense, forms, and sparring.
We are proud members of the World Taekwondo Federation, the United States National Taekwondo Federation, and the Illinois Taekwondo State Organization. Our classes not only focus on the physical aspects of martial arts but also on the mental and emotional benefits. Taekwondo training can improve balance, flexibility, stamina, strength, and posture, as well as boost confidence.
Taekwondo originated in Korea and is known for its emphasis on kicking techniques. Students at Dragon Martial Arts have the opportunity to progress through the ranks and may be eligible to test for a Black Belt after several years of dedicated training. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping students reach their personal goals and improve their fitness levels.
