"I can’t help but share a really cool experience that happened to my son… Tonight was the first night of football evaluations for the upcoming season in which my son is enrolled with the Tri-City Chargers 11U program. At the end of the night, after the kids completed all of their drills, the head coach of the Gold D1 team called my son out and told him to stand up in front of the other boys. He wanted to acknowledge that out of the 83 boys there, the coaches noticed him and his performance. It wasn’t that he was the best one out there…it was that they knew that even though he had taken a year off from football, it was apparent that he had put a lot of work in to be ready for this moment. His journey started in November of last year, in which he took speed and agility classes along with football position specific training…all with the goal of being the best version of himself on the field this season. This would not have been possible without the wonderful coaches at Power Athletics and Grid Iron Godz…Davion Mitchell and David Brown are truly great athletes/coaches/men and I would highly recommend them to anyone!"

"My son started coming in January 2020 for speed and agility classes. He immediately saw huge improvements within the first 2 weeks with endurance and agility work. He started body sculpt classes in June 2020 which had drastically changed his muscular tone and strength. All instructors love what they do and it shows with the quality leadership they provide everyday."

"My son (11) has been going here for 2 weeks. He's fairly active and my initial question was around how hard would he be pushed. He is challenged at every workout. Trainers are extremely positive and invested. David, the owner, makes it a point to connect with everyone who comes through the doors. Will has been excellent in teaching, challenging, correcting and encouraging kids during classes. We have not worked with the other trainers, but Davion always makes it a point to connect with all that enter the gym. There are 2 other trainers that I have not met yet, but they are great to watch working with their clients-very invested and motivational. They welcome all shapes and sizes, everyone is made to feel they can achieve their goals with hard work. Check your egos at the door here, it's really a community gym where everyone pulls for each other. No flash and glitz here, good tunes, good equipment and excellent staff. Their focus is where it should be, on the members and having quality staff."
