"The swim staff does not seem to engage with children of color. A lot of favoritism and possible discrimination against my biracial kid. For the past few sessions my husband and I both noticed the lack of training and coaching in the water with our son and it hasn’t been a welcoming and inviting environment which is why we are transitioning to a new swim school, FOSS to be exact. The scoring and metrics used to rate the swimmer’s performance makes absolutely no sense and levels of improvement seem absent during the time we’ve been at Big Blue. FOSS has much better swim coaches and staff, amenities, and tools and techniques for the kids to express and develop to their full potential as swimmers. Try not to waste your money and time like we did and be very attentive to the possible racism that takes place here!"

Our little M loves her so much and is always so excited when we say we are going to swim! Thank you Angelita for making swim class so fun for M even if she’s only 5 months old!"
