About the Business

Pekin Park Dist Sports Complex

Located on 300 Koch Street in Pekin, Illinois, the Pekin Park Dist Sports Complex is an 82-acre park designed to be a hub for youth sports and programs. This complex has hosted numerous baseball, softball, soccer, and football games organized through various programs and clubs. With eight lighted baseball/softball diamonds, four mini baseball diamonds, a ten-acre soccer area, and four regulation football fields, there is plenty of space for kids ages two to 18 to play. The park also features two playgrounds with slides, swings, and climbing challenges for children to enjoy.

In addition to the sports fields and playgrounds, the complex also offers a 1.6-mile paved walking path that is great for a leisurely stroll. The area is relatively flat, making it accessible for seniors and those who may have difficulty with hills or uneven terrain. Restrooms, concessions, and ample parking are available for visitors.

The Sports Complex is also available for hosting tournaments for baseball, softball, soccer, football, and lacrosse. Fees vary depending on the number of days and fields needed for the tournament. Snacks such as nachos, ice cream sandwiches, hot dogs, and more are available for purchase at the concession stands.

For more information on scheduling activities or tournaments at the Pekin Park Dist Sports Complex, you can contact them at (309) 347-7275. Hours and days of operation are weather and event schedule dependent and subject to change.

"Very nice ballpark - however- if you are at the football field, it's quite the haul to concessions- there was a food truck that came - but was pretty crazy expensive."

"I live close by and see this place being used alot and think the city should finish it! I believe it's supposed to get bigger and the kids get alot of use outta it and needs to be bigger with more places to park! Really a three or four story small parking deck or a underground parking would be ideal for this location and save space for the sports field and some good shade trees for the fans which is also needed. But all in all very cool"

"My grandson Brayden was celebrating his 4th birthday today. This very nice police office took time to not only shake his hand but tell him Happy Birthday. In the last days tragedy we feel that open communication begins when younger and taught to respect authority then to have to taught at an older age. I didn't get his name sonif someone recognizes him or his family please tag him. The park was beautiful and kept clean and safe. Thanks Pekin Park District"

"Great park! Very clean, huge fields for verious sports or for kids to just run. 2 playgrounds with 2 very large parking lots. Could use more bleachers for watching baseball games in the 4 smallest diamonds. Path around the park should be paved all the way around, when my 4 year old rides his bike while I walk he gets stuck but a quick push & he's off again so not really a big deal."
