The Rink at Pine Creek (formally White Pines Roller Rink)

"My son was invited for a birthday party. He has a lot of fun. I stayed and skated with him. It was fun. Kind of like riding a bike. The girls that were working were super nice and hard working, as well as professional and polite. The pretzel and cheese could use some help, but it was microwaved.. The rink has a lot of cracks and wear and tear. I think it's fine for kids and people looking to just have fun, especially for the low price."

"Rented the place out for my son's and daughters birthday. I don't think it was worth the money we spent. Some things should have been included I believe. On top of renting it out we had to still pay for everybody's skate rentals and the skate helpers. I guess I understand the drinks but it was a little over $300 for two hours. Seemed rushed. The lady was nice and the rink was smooth. They could use newer skates but their rentals what could you expect."

"It's nice that there is at least one roller rink still open these days that isn't located in a far-off big city, but it leaves much to be desired. I visited in a relatively mild day temperature wise (82+/-) and it was absolutely SWELTERING inside. I don't think there is any form of air conditioning, just some fans placed in the corners on the rink. There were not a lot of people at the time either, so I imagine that it is totally miserable in there when crowded. A lot of the games are faulty. Staff is a bit gruff. I don't want to go so far as to day they are terrible; they will assist you in a timely matter, but they are just not particularly friendly. Be prepared as they have a policy in place where if you exit the building you have to pay admission to reenter. They do have lockers inside so you can place your belongings while you're in there, so best to just be sure to bring everything in with you. If you smoke, you will either have to pay extra or hold off on a cigarette (or vape) while there. They seem to allow strollers on the rink, which is a nice plus if you are attending with very small children, as it gives them a chance to take part in the fun on the rink. However, I am not sure if they are rentals or if patrons brought them in themselves. They seem to either let the rules slide for certain people or each staff member enforces rules differently, which is unfair and unprofessional. Be aware that there may be things you can do one visit but not the next. Prices are pretty reasonable. Admission, skate fee, and "skate buddies" ( essentially PVC pipes on wheels to help with stability for children still learning to skate) do all add up if you have a decent sized group, but it's still better than cost of a lot of entertainment these days. Ultimately, the place is worth a visit, but with all these variables it can be a bit of a gamble as to whether it will be an enjoyable one or not. I still recommend checking it out regardless, because there's definitely potential to have a really great time."

"Staff was friendly, but very busy and the rink seemed understaffed for how many people were there skating. Prices were very reasonable, rink was well maintained and the DJ'd music / activities added to the experience. Not many roller rinks around anymore so it was pleasant to see this one so nice and lively."
