"HORRIBLE!! I have been a patient at Northwestern hospitals since I was born 46 years ago and this was by far the worst doctor I have ever come into contact with. He saunters in 40 minutes late for the appointment, he doesn't offer to shake my hand or introduce himself. He comes in and asks my why I am there. I tell him my cardiologist sent me because I am pre diabetic and I am struggling to lose weight and this man wants to talk to me about my echo results. I tell him I have a cardiologist already and my concern is what I stated. He then proceeds to explain to me "calories are like a bank account, the more you put in it goes up" like I am 2 years old. I then tell him I am aware of how calories work but nothing is working. He then without an exam of asking me any questions proceeds to tell me I am a creature of habit and that it could be the quality of my food. He is looking at a black middle aged woman and assumes it is the quality of my food. He did not ask me any questions only talked down to me like I was a child. It was the most condescending appointment I have ever had. I got up and walked out."
