"They have a program where if you buy 1oz silver bar every month that at the end of a year you get a “free” 1oz bar. What they don’t tell you is that each month when you buy a bar they add an extra $2-$3 on top of the $5 per ounce over spot that they charge so it’s $7-$8 over spot. So at the end of a year program, you’ve given them an extra $24-$36 over and above the $5 over spot per ounce. I pointed out to them that it isn’t right to say it’s a free 1oz bar if you charge me $2-$3 each month. Then I’m paying $24-$36 for my “free ounce” and that’s not free. He told me “well that’s the way it is. If they’ll do that to fellow Quad Cities Coin Club members, I’d check other coin shops around town. I haven’t been back. I do not recommend"
