Who facilitates the conversations you hear on the floor. But the worst of it all is, UPS will do periodic updates with employees making them sign acknowledgment letters stating the workplace rights and safety regulations. However, UPS Northbrook doesn’t actually enforce the OSHA regulations. Starting with steel toe shoes. HR will call you before starting work to emphasize the requirement to wear steel toe shoes for safety reasons considering the weight of packages. However, because of worker needs, UPS has been overlooking the rules, as Ken said. If OSHA walked in today, you would find a sneaker heads dream world. Every sneaker or slip on vans you can imagine. Who is actually paying attention? Obviously not OSHA. And UPS Northbrook makes it look like a useless government organization. "Ups driver didn't attempt my delivery and charged me $16 to pick up my package myself. When I showed up, my package had been shipped to a ups that's hours away from my house. Everyone working there needs to be fired"

"Lazy drivers will lie repeatedly and say they “attempted delivery” even though you’ve been sitting at home all day waiting to sign for the package they never tried to deliver. Then they will try to get you to do their job and pick it up yourself. In my case it was a corner store that had a shooting a few days before. When you try to call you will be stuck in phone tree hell where it hangs up on you repeatedly to discourage you from talking to a real person. Truly awful customer service!"
