"Susan is a solid accountant but there are two issues compared to other accounting services in the area. 1. Her prices are extremely high. For a basic married filing jointly—$320. Most places in the area are doing the same for less than $100. 2. Communication. We had an issue with our W-4s where our employers weren’t withholding enough so we owed. Okay fine, we’ll pay our taxes but we wanted to find out what to do to avoid this the following year. Susan was nice enough to offer to look them over as well as our paystubs to help us figure out what was wrong. After following up with her 3 times, we still have not heard anything. We won’t be returning next year."
