"Was told I could not cash a personal check from Capital One because "they are closed on Saturdays and Capital One doesn't verify checks" That is a load of bullcrap. Capital one does verify checks, I've had it done numerous times. I was also told that they wouldn't accept a Starbucks gift card, completely unused because it's on their "do not buy" list. Never heard of this bfore, but i will not come back here due to the ridiculous policies."
"Update as of feb 2 corporate handled my issues and respectfully explained the situation and how they're bonded by law.... I was told by iowa corporate manager for the problems I have had that couldve been avoided that he is willing to take a discount of the back end of a loan and will update if they don't hold up to their resolution and on my end im now fully aware of where my misunderstanding was"
