"After the holidays I was hit with multiple fees over a 24 hour period just so they could make money off me. I called to see if anything could be done to maybe pay a bit less in just fee charges and they were unhelpful and uncaring. This credit union ended up taking nearly $100 from my account just in fees which makes them worse than actual banks. Many credit unions don't charge outrageous fees and charges. Because fees and charges aren't necessary and because they strive to be there for the community and their people. Even Wells Fargo offers a grace period to avoid charging you fees. KCT does not."

"Coming from a “private” or smaller bank, It’s probably easier to go in person than to call because their phone service representative’s in their dispute section are terrible and awful. The wait line for the wait call was “1 minute” and then I waited 12 minutes to get someone to talk to me, ALL for them to HANG UP and when I called back, the wait time was 12 minutes which probably translates into 30 minutes waiting for someone to hang up on you. Chase bank, 5/3 Bank, or Bank of America would be the way to go, no long wait times."

I feel safe and I trust them, excellent customer service, car loan rate is great. Easy to contact and talk to them. If you are looking for a true and trusted bank, it is KCTCU!!!
