Situated on 600 acres near Pyramid State Park in rural Perry County, Illinois, SIMX headquarters is home to our business affiliate, Midwest Transload. Our facility boasts a 940 car rail system, directly served by Union Pacific and Canadian National Railroads, giving us the unique ability to transload products from trucks to rail or vice versa.
Our diverse fleet includes late-model tractors from top brands such as Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, Volvo, Freightliner, and International, as well as pneumatic tankers hauling a variety of materials such as lime, fly ash, sand, carbon, and food-grade products. We also have vans, liquid tankers, and grain hoppers in our trailer fleet.

"Good place to work , decent pay for the area. SIMX offers(after 90 days of employment) health insurance, 401 K retirement plans, an allotted amount of paid sick days ( not for sure on this, but was told this).After one year of service you get a 1 week vacation,. The office personnel and dispatch are pretty much all very helpful with work related issues and such and mostly accommodating about days you need off, make sure you let them know in advance. I have to say, like most companies, they have areas that could use improvement, as does all companies, but I like working here, I've been driving a truck since 1995, and this is by far The Easiest driving job I've ever had and the pay ain't bad either. Lol"
