Dart Transit Yard

"I like this yard is clean, has showers , TV Lounge and separate room for plugging your laptop, Staff is friendly. Only the laundry machine is smelling bad ( mold) because they don’t leave the door open ."

"Friendly, helpful staff, however after the dedicated lane that we were on ended we went from making in a month what we used to make in a week because they didn't have the freight. As for the yard itself the staff and employees there are wonderful, wish I could say the same about the company's ability to keep drivers busy."

"Used to think this was the best shop in the network, now I realize it only has nice amenities as the shop is just bad. 6 weeks ago i check in for a check engine light and an intermittent blinker. I leave after 7 hours with a check engine light, an intermittent blinker, and my omnitrac being disconnected from the motor. I had a pm scheduled for Friday past, but had a breakdown issue and rescheduled for Saturday. Get here Friday night and check in on Saturday for them to say it's not scheduled and they can't do it. He then says if I'm here first thing Monday morning, they'll get me taken care. Okay, things fall through cracks, i get it. At least that guy wasn't rude like others in the shop (especially the red bearded guy in the office). It's 7am Monday now, and this dude is saying he doesn't know if they can get me in and that it's not on his schedule. It's crazy that this is more difficult to do WITH a company shop as opposed to dealing with a TA or dealership. And for what drivers give up to work and live life on the road, you would think, if nothing else at all, that the shop personnel could at least be cordial. I see why this place is always empty now. The 2 stars is for the facilities btw. Amenities 5/5 and shop 0/5. Decent size lounge, an internet cafe, a kitchenette, vending machines, and nice showers. The only downside to the facility is that there is only one washer/dryer and only 2 showers/bathroom stalls; but this place is usually empty so not really a major issue."

"I work here. I've been here for 3 years and lobe my job. I've also spoken with many drivers who have been here 10+ years so it's defiantly a place that knows how to care for their drivers. I'm not just a number to my dispatcher. If you're looking for a good driver home you couldn't do much better than Dart."

"Dart Transit company Pontoon Beach Edwardsville,Illinois terminal repair shop is good nice staff management nice size lot overnight parking allowed for us independent contractors and company drivers. Have nice breakroom drivers lounge vending machines microwave fridge showers free wifi etc. Technicians took care of my truck and quality experience as owner lease Operator need within the house company. Highly recommend Dart drivers stop if in area. Also loads Procter and gamble and other warehouse companies in area. Flying J 3 miles down street off i270."
