H&R Block

"Do not use this office near filing deadline if you require schedule K-1. I think there is only one person able to do that at this office and though I had an appointment with him yesterday and sent him everything he needed I have not heard back from him. All I have to file is a schedule K-1 but Melecio did not have time to do a phone appointment with me at our scheduled time and would not answer my question of estimate as to when he could have my taxes completed. I have emailed Melecio several times and have heard nothing back from him. Initially I had an appointment with Leo in the Hillcroft office who was unable to do taxes pertaining to a schedule K-1 and he scheduled my appointment with Melecio at this office."

"I been coming this location for a few years I have always been greeted with kindness. They recognize me always. This year was a little upsetting. Due to know tax refund. After the money that I owed hr block from last year. I always come back. Because of the people you have there."

"i did a digital drop off of my tax docs with this office 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing not even a email . i called customer service and they stated they would have someone call me at 2pm today to update me. It is now 3:30pm and i decided to call the office myself, no one is answering . The machine states it is connecting me to a agent .. i get dead silence and then the phone disconnects. At this moment i am very frustated with the lack of communication."

"I have been with H&R Block over a decade and I definitely hate to write a bad review. But for this location I have to because my experience was terrible! So I made an appointment for 9am January 18 2019 two days before, and I arrived to the location around 9:03 am at which I had to stand outside for 10 minutes because the door was locked. Eventually someone came to the door because I had been knocking and to my surprise it was actually the person I had an appointment with her name is Tammoral, she apologized and informed me she forgot the door was locked. Ok so I walk in and proceed to get my taxes done, to my surprise and disappointment she begin googling state laws and forms because she did not know how to process my California w-2. Because I have been with H&R Block and I am an educated professional and know my state laws I felt uncomfortable with her processing my return so I insisted I could comeback to finish my return with someone who was educated with California state laws, she was insulted and informed me she was a trained tax professional(yet your on Google searching how to process my return). So then she tells me I can leave and she will call me back when she figures out how to process my state return, I told her I would grab something to eat since I had my kids with me and wait for her call(I was trying very hard to be patient). I finally got a call from her at 3:30pm in the afternoon and then to add insult to injury she informed me I would only be receiving $4 on my state return!! Lol mind you I have two children and I am low income and I worked, I politely told her I would go elsewhere and she insisted I come back to the office I declined. I went somewhere else the next day and my taxes was done the correct way and I am satisfied, if you go into this office beware."
