"SCAM! Changes the banking info to their bank and takes your refund after you already gave them yours for the IRS to direct deposit. IF you even get money back somehow, it’s significantly less than what you’re suppose to. Not sure how they manage to stay in business!"

I have filled an IRS complaint, this might end up hurting me but I would rather pay and see justice served. Name of the owner of business is Dumisani and Coleen Mawoyo. Again DO NOT FILE YOUR TAXES WITH TAX REFUND EXPRESS!!!"

"Usually Dumi upholds an amazing reputation. I went through him for the past 2 years and no issues however the lack of effort in keeping us updating and informed on my fiancés taxes have been little to nonexistent. I don’t understand why I can’t get ahold of anyone at the office. (Of course their voicmail is full.) I have reached out to him, serval times through emails, texts, and calls. With no reponse…other than a sechuled time to call him and he sent me straight to voicemail. I would like to know what legal action I can take, or if anyone else is expirencing these problems. I feel so bad for referencing anyone to him because this is more than just money, these are peoples lives. Update: completely went ghost and still haven’t received any information or our money."

"This is the worst experience I've ever had!!!! First to get the anyone on the phone is a miracle. It literally only happened once (after serval attempts) I am a new customer and I tried and tried multiple times to get them on the phone but to no avail I finally had to go in person. When went in person, I thought I was just picking up my file when in fact they had not even started it. I gave them paperwork weeks ago. I sat in the office for two hours while the owners assistant worked on my file. This was the least I've received back and the most I've paid a tax preparer. Also when I first met the owner of the business I was very clear in asking him if he knows how to do the PPP loans since I own and operate my own business. He emphatically told me he knew how to do them BUT when it came time to do it he said he doesn't do them and he wasn't comfortable. I had more questions about how to file for employees of my company but I could never get them on the phone so I had to go to another tax person to help me with all my questions. If you are looking for a professional, knowledgeable someone who answers questions and phone calls your THIS WOULD NOT BE THE PLACE TO GO!!!! Please save your self from the drama i promise he is not worth it!!!"
