"I have visited and been a guest on many occasions. And both inpatient and outpatient care has been very good. Last May I had serious issues which the hospitalist was able to track down and treat. I feel very confident about the care they give."

"Had to be taken to the emergency room, from there I was admitted and placed in 4west. I can't say enough about how well I was treated. From everyone in the ER to all the nurses on 4West. I had awesome care and everyone was very kind and thoughtful. This is the only hospital I will go to for care."

"My friend waited for 4 hours in the ER and had to leave and go to Galena Hospital. Severe abdominal pain and couldn't be seen. What a joke."

"I was held without just cause in the inpatient psychiatric unit. I had no access to fresh air during my time there, and the staff did not give me an estimation of the time frame as to when I would be released. I was put in a room with a former client of mine, and I was not given the option of providing feedback surrounding my stay. When I reported my experience with my physician, filing a complaint after my lengthy two-week forced stay at a facility with an average hold time of three days, there was no follow-up or indication that the physician took responsibility or was held accountable. While the nursing staff was kind, I felt as though the language they used was demeaning and that the way they treated me was neglectful of my inherent dignity as a human being. Some of what I said was taken out of context, and I was forced to take medication without just cause. I think would be helpful for nursing staff to be aware of patients’ rights. If they are already there, the nursing staff should be held accountable for not providing appropriate resources and support when I expressed that I felt as though my human rights were being violated. The director of the inpatient psychiatric unit ignored me when I suggested that I provide advocacy to people like me in there facilities. If not me, which I can understand, they should provide an independent party or more flexibility and resources for people who could be in shoes like mine. Due to my circumstances, I had no options, and no one has taken responsibility."

"My daughter was seen at the ER. We were there about 8 hours. But it was well worth the wait. They did every test possible on her to make sure they didn't miss anything. The Doctor and the Nurse that helped us, were very nice and gave us alot of information about following up.Which I greatly ! appreciated !! I also checked out the the Cafeteria while I was waiting, the lady that was working was super nice I didn't get her name but she had brown hair and glasses. .. really no complaints. Just maybe shorter wait times in the ER"
