"My husband and I always do our own taxes, but in 2020 since Covid hit and I was receiving unemployment, received the stimulus, we decided to go with a “professional.” Biggest mistake!!! GandB long story short Vero Briones inputted one of our documents wrong. We got a letter this year we were being audited for the year 2020, we tried contacting her several times and kept getting run around until she finally called back and agreed to meet with us. In that meeting (which we have recorded) she admitted to the mistake that’s costing us $13,000. Her ways of fixing this problem was appealing the audit, lying about my husband having a business that failed due to covid. She also said she didn’t offer us the protection plan because she didn’t think we needed it. Our appeal got denied and now she won’t even respond to our phone calls or text messages. All we want is for her to help us fix this, we signed the paperwork, we received the refund but she needs to take responsibility also for her mistake and help us. Never again will we be using this company again. Lessons learned."

"If I could give a zero star I would. Believe or not this place came highly recommended. Unfortunately I have been filing taxes for over 20 years and had the worst experience. I don't know if it is because I wasn't from the area or what the issue was. But here are facts. I called and was requested to uploaded all my info on the app so i did. I received a call a few days prior to my appointment and the women stated they had to have my son's ID and a bill from my current address. No problem I uploaded it. Then I had a phone appointment. I waited 45 minutes never received a call. So I called. The lady answered the phone, stated they could not read my sons W2s. So I texted her the pictures. They would call me back. An hour later called me back and stated they could not read my W2s. I stated ok and sent them my W2s and a 1098T to state my son was in college. I stated ok. Now in my head I thought ok so now we are 2 hours past my appointment time. You called me two days prior and now we can't read anything I sent and need more information. But it is fine let's get this done. Also let me add when I was on the phone with two different people not only did they not communicate with each other, but stated several times well they were dealing with other people and with agitation stated they would call me back when they had time. Also stated she called yesterday but noone answered. I had some random appt. I looked no missed calls or any calls from Texas. So finally 3 hours after my appointment time. Veronica called and stated she still needed my son's w2. I stated I had sent them to her co worker. She first stated her coworker did not get them. Then I stated ok she stated thank you. Then Veronica stated well I can't get them can I send them again with agitation. I said thay was fine. I had commented I would of text or sent documentation all at the same time a few days ago if I would of known there was an issue. Veronica said you don't have to talk to me with that attitude. I was silent for a minute and I hung up with some chosen words. I believe the issue is miscommunication with coworkers and limited to no organization. Why would I want anyone filing my taxes that runs a business like this. Please don't go there or don't recommend this place."
