"I can highly recommend -- and often do -- Hauser Family Therapy to anyone in search of a competent, sensitively-rendered, scientifically-informed approach to their problems and strengths. Professionally, I am more familiar with Dr. David Hauser's work than with Dr. Katherine Hauser's; clients I have referred to Hauser Family Therapy have made it a point to communicate to me what a satisfying and healing experience both clinicians have provided. And I know they hire associates who have already demonstrated excellent clinical skills in other settings. I have known Dr. David Hauser for long enough to witness him flourish as a therapist and to be considered "seasoned" in this field -- and yet he retains the energy and curiosity one typically sees in younger therapists. It is a rare and winning combination. I refer to him often, share cases with him, and lean on him for his keen insights, warmth, and problem-solving skills."

"It is always a pleasure collaborating with the owners and associates at Hauser Family Therapy. As a couples therapist, I have confidently referred families and individual clients to the therapists at HFT and have heard nothing but positive feedback about their level of attention, knowledge, and empathic approach to treatment. They exemplify a high level of care by continuously communicating with other health care providers to ensure the highest quality and continuity of care."

"As a fellow clinician who has been collaborating with Hauser Family Therapy as long as I have been practicing, they remain my top choice for competent, warm, and collaborative care."

"David inappropriately terminated care with me without referral after collaborating with a psychiatrist at the Family Institute whom incorrectly diagnosed me. The psychiatrist, Michelle Gavin, also terminated care at the same time claiming that she "did not treat mood disorders." Made zero sense. It was a malpractice case quite frankly. I did not even have a mood disorder. I hope that my case was a learning experience for him as a young therapist. However, it took quite a toll on me at the time. A handful of years later, I am doing significantly better after stopping all medication and working with an experienced social worker. While things may have changed more recently, I think you can find a better therapist elsewhere."
