"I've known Dr. Thomas Mahan for many years now we met while his time in the PNW, he came into my life when I was least expecting it. It was a very crucial time and I didn't even realize it. He continues to remind me that its always been his greatest delight to be a part of it and the greatest part is actually believing in-its a very special thing when you think your life is better off because someone else played an important role in it and then you realize how much a gift it was for the both of us. The role he plays now in my life is very different than during those critical years of my life-I honestly can't say I would be the person I am today if it wasn't for Thomas he truly is the kind of human you want in your life, the way he makes you feel seen, heard, special, and you know he genuinely feels that way. I do agree with him that I've done the work to create the life and relationships I have in my life, and I know he truly feels in his heart and mind it's been as much of a privilege for him as it was for me."

"Believe the other reviews that said Thomas mahan will disappear and won’t show up for your appointment. I’m talking about missing 5-6 appointments at least! I called, texted and showed up on his driveway for my appointment but he’s no where to be found. Once you meet him a couple of times then you’ll start feeling/noticing something is off. Don’t waste your time and money. Go somewhere else!"

"Dr. Mahan is patient, non-judgmental and forthright, which made it easy for me to speak my mind. I always felt heard, and never rushed. During a session, Dr. Mahan never got bogged down in the details of a specific incident, but rather encouraged us to find the root of the problem and move forward from there; this is a skill that continues to help me today. I highly recommend Dr. Mahan for couples or individual therapy. Dr. Mahan is an excellent neutral mediator and seems to genuinely care about his clients"

"Avoid at all costs! Dr. Mahan's has too many red flags to trust with your marriage. I sought him out for discernment counseling. Not only did he not follow the actual discernment counseling protocol, he was late to almost all the sessions, and failed to show up for two of them. His text messages to me were rambling, full of poor grammar and punctuation. Also, his website is riddled information plagiarized from other websites. In fact, a great deal of Dr. Mahan's website, his approach, everything seems to be in some way ripped off from Couples Therapy Inc. Unfortunately, Google won't let me post this review and include the URL's that prove my contention. And, don't even get me started about Dr. Mahan's billing practices. In any case, Dr. Mahan is a disaster. If you truly do value salvaging your marriage, go somewhere else. There have to be better choices out there than him. I just wish I found that choice sooner."
