"My dream job is to be a front desk person at Mather’s Clinic. A day in the life includes pretending to take multiple messages that are NEVER relayed to the doctors about important medications, IF they even feel like answering the phone (which seldom happens). IF you are lucky enough to get a hold of anybody, prepare to be treated like garbage and harassed for asking normal questions like you aren’t a paying patient. The doctors also make you schedule appointments every month if you have Medicaid so they can siphon money from your insurance, because they know they can and they’re your only option. It’s like Ed Devebic’s but for mental healthcare."

"If I could put less Stars I would, these people can't keep a doctor for the life of them and every new doctor does not communicate with the last come I have been there a year and for a year I have had trouble getting refills on my prescriptions, now that I have moved they are making me drive 3 hours there and back and then to have them lose my UA's, it's funny how my appointment was weeks ago and they never received my prescription at Walgreens I made another appointment yesterday spoke with the doctor who was very rude and they said they were going to send it yesterday and did not still! Medication is a very important thing that should not be taken lightly and it should not take more than 26 hours to send in a prescription! Negative five stars, Can someone please tell me if there's another place! Some of the receptionists think they are counselors too, they think they can discuss with you about your medication and how you take it and when you should be taking it! Then knowing that the place is also for mental health clients they should never hang up on a distraught client, especially when their client is absolutely Right!"

"Have been with Mathers Clinic now for several years, though when I was first starting out with them they were called 7-Hills, and the clinic I went to was in East Dundee. I have zero complaints about them. The receptionist are great warm friendly people, we all have our off days, I am hoping that is what the other reviewers experienced. As far as my Dr she is amazing; however, she works out of the Elgin office now. Had an issue a few years ago with depression I informed the dr and she stepped up to provide temporary care while I waited for a higher level care to become available as I was on a dreadful waitlist, with another provider network. It is hard sometimes to get someone on the phone. However, if you call and leave a voicemail, the call is always returned within 24 hours. I see a therapist Through Mathers as well and she has me on a set schedule is friendly personable and helpful. All in all I have grown fond of the people at the East Dundee Clinic and I have nothing but praise and good things to say about the clinic as a whole. I highly recommend this clinic based on what I have seen thus far. My therapist is relocating to the Crystal Lake office, and I will update accordingly once I’ve been in and out of that office however, I am positive that my experience will be just as positive as it always has been in the past."
