"I called on a Friday to hopefully secure an appointment with Sarah and was told she wasn't taking new clients but that perhaps an exception would be made. After communicating with Keely she told me that Monday morning I'd be receiving call to make an appointment. Monday morning came and went with no call and I decided to go elsewhere as I had immediate needs, and needed an appointment asap. Case of miscommunication, Sarah herself called that afternoon and apologized profusely. Sarah was very eager to right the situation. She seems very nice but I had made the decision early that day to secure an appointment with a different counseling group. I commend her efforts to fix the error in communication and would consider her in the future"

"I reached out to this place a few weeks ago to inquire about counseling sessions. After several days nobody responded to me (even though the voicemail says someone will return your call within 24 hours), so I decided to try to contact someone via email. I got a response almost immediately, saying the practice was taking new clients, with the person on the other end asking me to fill out a patient intake form, where I had to provide personal information, such as mental health history, insurance, & credit card info. I was hesitant to fill out that information without speaking to someone over the phone or in person, but against my better judgement I filled it out. I also inquired about the sliding fee scale that they have advertised on their website, & that’s where I feel the conversation went cold, with responses short. I even asked if I could receive a call to try to come up with payment options, but instead received an email from the owner saying they couldn’t take any sliding fee patients at the time. I fully understand that this practice doesn’t accept my insurance, & as mentioned to me by the owner, that they couldn’t afford to take on any sliding fee patients, but it’s still very disheartening to me that I didn’t even get the courtesy of a phone call, possibly because I’m underinsured? It was a bad experience, that leaves me hesitant to reach out to another clinician."

"You have to blow my socks off for me to leave a review anywhere…and that is exactly what happened. Sarah at RCG has helped my daughter immensely with her anxiety. A total answer to prayer. My daughter is successfully participating and thriving in a high school setting all with the help of Sarah. Sarah is able to really connect with my daughter and teach her tools to help with her anxiety. Thanks Sarah for giving my daughter her life back. Forever grateful Kristin"

"Counseling is a very hard category to 5 star review, that being said, I always know that when seeking Counseling at RCG I am given respect, empathy and understanding, then given some tactics on new ways of thinking to improve on. As someone who is trying to feel better and gain a better understanding of HOW to make my life as happy as possible its nice to feel productive. I always leave with a feeling of optimism and a way to get there if not immediately I know I’m working towards a goal of better mental health. Staff is wonderful and always makes it easy to book, bill insurance and made the experience seamless. Sara and staff are for sure 5 stars!"

"I have been Sara Rivier's patient since early 2019. I have had a completely wonderful experience. From everyday frustrations to moments of crisis, she is consistent, patient, and empathetic. She is knowledgeable enough to tailor her sessions to a patient's individual needs. Sara is a thoughtful listener and follows through for her patients. I have had both virtual and in-person sessions with her. I've always felt at ease with her practice and bookkeeping. I appreciate that she is LGBTQIA+ friendly.
