"If you are ever in need of physical therapy, I highly recommend DPT. I was originally referred to another PT group for hip (bursa) pain but they could not see me for a month, and I’d already spent 2-3 months exhausting conservative treatments. A friend referred me to DPT, I called that day, they saw me for an assessment the very next day (Friday) and I had my first appt the very next Monday, at which time they had me start with several minor, simple exercises and my first of several dry needle therapy treatments (game changer!). Amazingly, my severe, crippling pain shooting down my leg was more than 50% gone in 24 hours. I was under their professional, supportive care for the next 3 months until I was released with a few simple exercises to continue at home to do everything possible to prevent the pain from ever getting that bad again. All the therapists (especially Lynn) and assistants (especially Kristen) are encouraging, they work with you, not at you, they never pushed me past my comfort zone, it was all about slow and steady, not fast and uncomfortable. "My therapist, Holly, was kind and caring, always working to find what would work for my back pain. I love the relatively small office and the personalized attention by each of the therapists. So many physical therapy offices have techs doing most of the work, and the patient sees the actual therapist only occasionally. Every session here has the attention of the therapist for at least half of the time, and they continue to oversee the techs as they work, making sure the exercises are being done correctly.
