"Was there recently for a special event. It's been awhile and exactly how I remembered. Every resident that lives in the area should try to check it out and learn a little history of Wauconda and the area. Our event was free but donations are appreciated."
"Where are pictures of Robert O Dunn? Mertie and Homer Cook? My father, who was Robert O Dunn contributed everything he could since this was our relatives home. You really need to honor and have some respect towards my father. Thanks for all that you do. Please include photos and statements of everything Robert Dunn accomplished to respect my father, Merti Cook, we called her Mertie not Mary. She preferred being called "Mertie". She was my father's aunt and when she passed my father was given her home on main st. He was very involved in the Humane society. It's unfortunate that I do not see any documents about his work in preserving his aunts home and property or pictures. Our family donated everything in that house that the Cooks built by hand. Thank you. Hope to see some type of acknowledgment of my father and family. Thanks again. Mary Beth Dunn"
