Zen Soul Society Yoga Studio is a gym and health institution located at 1006 Avenue H in Fort Madison, Iowa, United States. At Zen Soul Society, you are loved, seen, and welcomed with open arms. Our mission is to provide a safe space for vulnerability, growth, and self-compassion. We offer a variety of yoga classes including Buti, Hot, Vinyasa, Restorative, Chair, Kids, Yin, and Trauma-informed Yoga.
Our instructors, known as #BlissDealers, come from diverse backgrounds and are dedicated to kindness, commitment, qualifications, and inspiration. All levels and body types are welcome to join our classes and restore their body and soul.
Founded in 2021 by Alexis Taryn, Zen Soul Society is a well-known yoga studio in Southeast Iowa. Formerly known as Now & Zen Yoga, established in 2017, we are thrilled to now serve Fort Madison and the surrounding areas. Our blue building is located next to Worksource and the Historic Santa Fe Depot, with a private paved parking lot available for your convenience.

"I started yoga with Alexis 3 years ago and immediately knew it was what I had been missing for my mental wellbeing and soul. Alexis is the perfect yoga teacher - kind, patient, knowledgable, and welcoming. She encourages you to use the time and space to honor yourself... if you need to sweat out the stress of the day and challenge yourself - this is the place OR if you need a place to rest for 45 minutes then you are welcome to do that! When COVID closed our time to come together and practice, my mental health suffered and I knew that I needed yoga to survive. Alexis encouraged me to get my 200 hr yoga teacher training, so I did and I haven't stopped learning and getting yoga certifications since! I owe so much to her and the space that she has given me to discover myself and what I need. Thank you, Alexis!"
