Legent ASC Medical Center

"My daughter had surgery at Legent ASC 3 months ago. We have commercial insurance. We paid over $3,000 up front, as requested by the surgery center. However, after receiving our EOB from our insurance company we discovered that this was ~$1,200 too much. After multiple phone calls and re-directs and non-returned calls, we finally were able to talk to the "right person", who requested we send the EOB to them for review. After a few days, they admitted that we had overpaid ~$1200. We were then asked to "give us up to 4 weeks" to mail us a check. It has now been approximately 6 weeks and still we have not had the money refunded. I have spoken to the administrator who assured me this would be rectified in short order. It has now been another week and a half and now she will not even return my calls. There are many reputable ASCs in San Antonio.....request to go elsewhere...."

"I had surgery at Legent ASC Medical Center on December 5, 2022 to replace an implanted pain pump, and had an absolutely magnificent experience. The people from reception to my doctor were wonderful. This is the first time I've had surgery at a center rather than a hospital and I was very happy with the experience. My nurses Liz (pre-OP) and John (post-OP) took great care of me and insured my comfort both before and after my surgery. I had an excellent anesthesiologist and of course my pain doctor, Dr Stephanie Jones, both of whom made my surgery go very well. If I have a choice next time I need surgery, I would definitely choose Legent ASC Medical Center."

"On February 07, 2022 I had a wonderful first time visit at Legent ASC Medical Center. I was totally impressed with the friendly staff, cleanliness, and relaxing atmosphere at first impression. My surgical procedure with Dr. Fichtel required a 24 hour stay. Aside the natural nervous feeling prior to surgery, I felt confident, and secure I was in good hands with Dr. Fichtel. He listened to me, answered all my questions, and concerns prior to surgery, and gave me his professional opinion. I'd like to thank the day staff( Kris, Sean, Melanie, and Marissa) and the night nurses, Liz and Jessie for their attentiveness, patience, professionalism, friendliness and hospitality.
