"Dr. Alvarez changed my life by surgically repairing a very troublesome prolapse problem that I have been bothered with for years. Pain post procedure was minimal and my recovery was quick. I would recommend her 100%."

"Way too long of a visit; I saw a nurse and 2 doctors before seeing Dr. Acevedo-Alvarez. Going over the information was very repetitive which lead to more frustration on my end. Also, when I did finally meet Dr. Acevedo-Alvarez she didn’t seem as pleasant as how my primary OB-GYN had portrayed her to be. I literally spoke to her for 1-2min. Disappointing. Out of this appointment- I did opt for physical therapy but it was put on me what I felt I should so vs what they recommended I do. High ratings to the nurse though she was awesome!"

"My visit was wonderful considering its purpose and procedures that had to be done Asian intern made me comfortable and guided me successfully to answer pertinent questions. Her grabbing my hand during uncomfortable procedure gave my fear a moment of faith that I was with someone who knows the importance of the human spirit! The nurses team approach to get caterer in made me feel confident to handle discomfort. The other interns input was welcomed. I was impressed by Dr. Acevedo Alvarez smile, expertise and how well she interacted as a mentor! As a patient it is refreshing to see a group of women in the medical field successfully being mentored! Dr. Acevedo Alvarez leads a wonderful team! My experience at Loyola was excellently handled. My concerns and fears at 63 years of age are important and I needed them addressed not only medically but with compassion! Thank you ladies for your commitment to your professions!"
