"I recently had major surgery (exploratory laparotomy hysterectomy) done by Dr Winder at Loyola. My whole experience was great overall! The staff was able to get me in for my consultation within a few days. Dr Winder was very personable and answered all of my questions. My surgery went smoothly with no complications. I had to stay 5 days in hospital just due to the type of procedure. The staff was great and Dr Winder and her residents rounded on me every day. Recovering at home I had questions about my incision and was able to send pictures on patient portal and received quick response. Follow up appointment went smooth, and at 3 weeks post op, my incision is looking good and pain is minimal. I highly recommend Dr Abigail Winder!"
