"Dr. Owens is knowledgable, professional, and kind. I've never had a problem at the O'Fallon or Maryville office. I have recommended her many times and so glad I found her."

"I have gone here for yearly checkups for years but let the last few years put me into the “new patient” category again. I wrote my appointment time down wrong and was considered a no show and was told it is their policy to not make any future appointments for me. I was literally kicked out. That is their office policy. This seems very unprofessional for a medical doctor. People make honest mistakes at times. At 63 years old I have never been treated more cold or disrespectful. If there was a zero rating I would have given this office location that rating. The doctors set their policies. This office needs some revamping."

"Scheduling is really easy and I can always get ahold of them. I only came to them becuase I became pregnant and I heard a lot of good things about another doctor there. Sadly she was all booked so I went with what they told me was their second best, ms markel Owens. She is good. She’s not very personal unless you get her talking and you have to make her open up. It was very uneasy feeling having to be the one to make the doctor open up when I was a brand new patient. She didn’t do much at all with my pregnancy other then the heart rate hearing. She refused to give me an ultrasound until her “preferred” time frame of 20 weeks. Luckily I went on my own to a 3rd party and found out I was having twins at 13 weeks, or else we wouldn’t have been prepared at all even though I asked and demanded an ultrasound. But she only does what she wants to do. She put me on all kinds of medicine or vitamins and nutrition which sounds good, but when I went to an actual high Rick specialist they said I was on to many and didn’t need any of them at all. My levels were now higher than what they needed to be and I needed to get them down. So Owens really put me at risk of things down the road. She’s a nice person and fun when you get use to her personality. But I would only recommend her as an OB that you see once a year"

"I am so glad my mother referred me to Dr. Owens. From scheduling and the actual exam I am totally pleased. Dr. Owens and her staff is wonderful and caring and she is very easy to talk with about anything. It's great Dr. Owens and associates have their own Imagining equipment so your not paying enormous amount of money at the hospital !"

"Do not try to get through to someone with one phone call, it took me 7 phone calls. Every time I called one number was directed to call another number. Lady at the O'Fallon office very unfriendly and unhelpful. Staff should not assume that patients know who's at what office and where, especially when trying to contact someone regarding a billing question. Plus staff should give extension numbers of staff they tell you to call if they have one rather than letting them play guessing games. I like Dr Owens but if it is so hard to get help with her staff I will look else where. This is not the first time I have had issues."
