"I had to put one star in order to post. it should be -10. Used them years ago. Went to use them for a trip to Hawaii. They are all working from home. No office anymore, its closed. Lack of communication, hard to get ahold of. Spent weeks trying to get just the hotel rooms on the different islands. Was told by Michelle who only works 2 1/2 days a week. (office manger) that she has spent time working on this and now wanted to charge $200 dollars before going any further. I called the owner who did not care. Run!!! there are so many other places ready to help you at no charge. Will NEVER use them again."

"The Travel Center was recommended to us by some very close friends, who have been working with The Travel Center for many years. We have worked with Joe and his team on three excursions over the past five years, all of which have gone without a hitch notwithstanding many unexpected challenges. Most recently we worked with Michele Gottfried on a safari in southern Africa. We began planning this trip in 2019 for a July, 2020 departure. Then COVID hit, and the trip was canceled in May, rescheduled for July 2021, only to be canceled again a couple of months in advance. The third time was charm, and all flights and travel arrangements went exactly according to plan. Michele worked tirelessly to book and rebook flights and other travel arrangements over the three years, coordinating seamlessly with the travel group which The Travel Center had recommended to us (which was a great recommendation), keeping our deposits, trip insurance, reservations, etc. in place and helping us with required documentation to comply with the ever shifting COVID protocols imposed by the various countries and airlines. We could not have been more pleased with the proactive, forward leaning approach Michele demonstrated throughout. It was as close to turnkey as anyone could hope for a trip of this complexity."

"I've been dealing with TCI for many years and they just keep getting better. I dealt with Leah Wozny (travel consultant) and Joe (owner). We wanted to do a Collette Ireland tour (highly recommend them as well) in combination with a visit to our daughter who lives in the Netherlands. Through TCI we were able to do both on the same trip. I can't say enough about how TCI helped us with all the planning, suggestions, as well as dealing with the Covid issues. The visit with our daughter was fantastic, the Collette tour was phenomenal, and the trip plans made for us couldn't have gone better. Although today one can do almost anything via the Internet, in my opinion it still does not beat the excellent personal touch that TCI provides. And in my life I've dealt with several travel agencies both personal and in business. In my mind TCI carries the torch the highest. You can bet that we will be using them again for travel plans as well as for suggestions on where we should go next. Thanks again TCI!"

"In December of 2019 I booked a trip to France for June 2020. Sadly I had to cancel due to Covid. I asked my travel agent Beth a few questions about canceling. Her responses were abrupt and rude. She was friendly when I was paying money. She kept saying I should just contact the insurance company. I get it, Avanti lost a lot of money because of Covid. Acting rudely also causes you to lose returning customers. Needless to say, I won’t be using Avanti again."
