"I have been going to Alvin Sewing & Vacuum for almost 20 years and have never been disappointed with their service or their customer support. I was making a wedding dress and my machine just broke a piece inside, so I called and was told to bring it in and they would get it done asap, and they did. I got it back In 2 days turnaround time, and the repairs were really reasonable. I still have that same machine now and am only now needing to have a tune-up on it, so will be calling tomorrow for that work."
"Took my older Kenmore canister vacuum clean due strange noise when vacuuming. A $135.00 later my vacuum is returned to me AND NOW both wheels on the power head falls off when vacuuming. Took it back and I was told that the housing wore out. BOTH AT THE SAME TIME, I THINK NOT! I was told that they could not get parts for the wheel housing, but offered to give me $135 toward an new vacuum cleaner ($800++). My opinion is that it was damaged during repair and returned to me with a garbage story. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!"
