"First and foremost they charged me $512. Mind you it was only one W2 form. The reason why I went to them to begin with was to get a cash advance. They only gave me $500, like what can I possibly do with that. To make the situation worse I couldn’t get the funds , I had to call the bank that they are affiliated with and a Asian /Chinese woman tried to help but ended up giving me the address to a bank In Odessa . 5 days later I get the cash advance. A cash advance should be available the same day !!! GECU is free and they will deposit your funds directly to your account . I had already posted a review and it got deleted . Never again !"
"First time doing my taxes with Jackson Hewitt, they charged me 500 dollars and some change to input data from my W2 into their system, they say they charge by the sheet , whatever that means. Reason why I decided to go there was for a cash advance which I needed ASAP and they lend me 500 dollars, nowadays 500 dollars is the new 100 dollar bill. I would’ve never paid 500 dollars . They provide you with an American Express card , its been 6 days since I’ve been trying to use the card and I’m not allowed to . Card is activated , I tried giving a payment and didn’t go through , I logged into the account and changed the pin , I tried to withdrawal the funds at an ATM with the American Express logo, I called Jackson Hewitt and staff told me to look for a money pass ATM . It’s been a nightmare. I will definitely go back to GECU free of charge and money is directly deposited into your bank account"
"They lie about you going to get on card. They gave me a card supposedly 250 bucks. I called no 250 bucks after a day. They say they going to sent a another after 10 days. You suppose to give one card not 2 cards. Big Time scam If I could give you a zero star I will give it to you Jackson Hewitt on montana street"
