Midwest Disc Golf

"I am part of a few disc golf leagues in the Lomard area and we have been raising money for the past year to update the the tee pads and baskets at Lombard Commons. This week the Park District was ready to pour the concrete pads but Midwest Disc Golf heard last second and wants to go through a walk through with the Park district; even though they have nothing to do with this project. They have not contributed any money or time to this project and now want to hold this project up even though we have been working hard and excited to play with the new tee pads and baskets. It's a shame they couldn't work with the disc golfers ahead of time."

"This is not a sporting goods store. Midwest Disc Golf has designed and installed several disc golf courses in the greater Chicagoland area. Unfortunately, all of their courses include similar safety hazards. If you are a Park District rep looking for assistance with the design and installation of a new disc golf course, please visit some of their existing courses prior to making an agreement. For example, North Salk Park in Rolling Meadows, IL just opened their new disc golf course that is located in and around local soccer fields. Several accidents have already been reported here although the course has only been open for approximately 3 months. It is a shame to see the same mistakes being repeated time and again. Please be aware of other park users if you must play a round of disc golf at a course designed and installed by this company."
