"My wife and I have used Jackson Hewett tax services for the last several years and we have happy with the services they provide. Now that they have offices in many Walmarts they are more convenient to people who live in outlying communities. They only draw back was the hours, I requested late evenings or a Saturday appointment, but those are not available at the location I contacted. Also, make sure you bring hard copies of any forms you may need, it's a pain that once you get there and get started and you find out you are missing a W2 or a 1099R. Some offices will allow electronic downloads, some will not. In my opinion since most of the forms are now digital, one should be allowed to bundle all of the required forms and forward them to the office of your choice (in a secured manner) and file without the hassle of paper copies. All in all, not a bad deal, cost of preparation is not to bad and they offer a protection service plan should you be audited. And since they are in Walmart, as soon a you are done you can go buy a fishing pole and fish the remainder of the day since you are already late for work."
