"I scheduled an appointment online to receive an HPV vaccination at this location. An older, white, male pharmacist on duty refused to administer the vaccine because he believed I was not eligible to receive it after he did a 20 second google search on his phone. I am 33 years old, and the CDC has approved Gardasil for use in females up to 45 years old. The pharmacist was extremely unknowledgeable, condescending, rude, and degrading in our interaction. He asked me why I even wanted to get this vaccine - which I answered, to stop the spread of HPV and protect myself against cervical cancer. I attempted to explain the reasoning for the age recommendations, and was forced to embrassingly recount the number of sexul partners I had OUT LOUD with a line of strangers behind me... After a 5 minute discussion, he told me even if I had a note from my general practitioner he would not administer the vaccine. As a note, the CDC clearly states a 33 year old female is eligible..."
