Creation Station Dance is a fun and engaging dance institution located at 12835 Preston Road in Dallas, Texas. We offer a variety of dance classes for kids, including Ballet, Tap, and Hip Hop, catering to children from toddlers to teens aged 16 months to 16 years. Our classes are designed to promote high self-esteem and allow every child to be themselves in a nurturing and non-competitive environment.
At Creation Station Dance, we take a developmental approach to teaching, with age-appropriate expectations for children. Our classes are structured with a mix of physical elements to strengthen coordination and flexibility, as well as a magical make-believe component to keep children engaged and interested. Our award-winning program for kids aged 16 months to 6 years uses props, costumes, and weekly themes to inspire and develop social, physical, and gross motor skills while ensuring that children have fun.
For children aged 6 and above, we offer the Creation Station Academy (CSA) program, which provides a more formal training environment without the pressure of competition. Many of our students have gone on to pursue professional dance careers or join dance companies, while others have benefited from the self-esteem building attributes of our program.
At Creation Station Dance, we believe in the power of self-expression through the arts and encourage parents to choose classes based on how instructors work with their students rather than just the style of movement being taught. Our goal is to help children tap into their imaginations and develop their personal, artistic, and educational strengths while improving their dance ability, self-esteem, coordination, focus, and cognitive skills both in and out of class. "My granddaughter has the best time in her class. It does take about four classes to get the students in the groove, but once they figure it out, the sky’s the limit. The students love the disco ball and bubbles and the finale…glitter on their arms and a sticker. My only wishes are that the new teachers wouldn’t use the boas as jumps and use the dots for tiptoes and the hoops for jumping into."
"My 3 yr old daughter absolutely loves her dance ballet/tap lessons through Creative Station Dance. The teachers are so engaging and make the dancing experience fun. She looks forward to attending dance!!! The staff/teachers have been so incredibly helpful and flexible. They have options for renting ballet/tap shoes and they allow students to wear their favorite dance outfits. So you aren’t having to purchase a bunch of dance gear just to get your child started in dance!! It’s awesome!! Also, there is lots of help in scheduling - they work to find the best schedule for you/your student! I highly recommend this dance studio!!"
